April 10, 2025 — Following Ilse Aichinger, Reiner Kunze, Loriot, Siegfried Lenz, Rafik Schami, and Nora Gomringer, the 13th Weilheim Literature Prize is awarded to Bas Böttcher. The prize, endowed with €7,500, was presented at a ceremonial event at the Weilheim City Theatre. The laudatory speech was delivered by spoken word poet Dalibor Markovic.
