The Children’s Kiez Slam 2025 will take place on June 30, 2025, at the Humboldt Forum in Berlin. The event offers students from ten Berlin elementary schools the opportunity to present their creative talents on stage. The project is supported by the first Humboldt Spoken Word Poet, Bas Böttcher, who prepared the participants for the competition through a series of workshops.
The concept for the Children’s Kiez Slam was developed at Humboldt University of Berlin at the Institute of Educational Sciences under the direction of Professor Dr. Petra Anders. The final event will be hosted by Leona Schenke.
